Happy Independence Day America:)

Happy Independence Day America:)

South Korea.....Never in 100 years would I have thought that I would be spending 4th of July (USA's Independence Day) abroad. Right before coming here I was very excited, then a few days before leaving I was stressed out, then a few minutes before getting into the airplane I was very scared (1st time going to an airport/airplane plus I was alone). Looking back at last 2 weeks I realize that a lot happened. I am very thankful for this opportunity and for all of the love and support that I have gotten from my friends and family:D
Basic description of my first week:
v  Arrive to airport
v  Settle into my dorm all jet legged
v  “Sleep”
v  Wake up to pounding and music. There is construction going on right below the dorms and they do a dancing ritual type thing right before they start working @ around 5 am.
v  Go to the orientation
v  Meet people
v  Explore the campus
v  Didn’t eat
v  Go to dorms
v  Take a shower
v  Sleep and repeat the schedule for Saturday
v  Monday thru Friday meet students and teach
v  Eat sometimes for lunch
v  Continue teaching
v  Eat dinner
v  Go to dorm
v  Take shower
v  Sleep
v  Wake up to the construction
v  Weekend: Go explore Seoul, get lost and get ripped off buying an umbrella
The above is what happened last week; I am currently in week 2.
If you want a shortened summary, then here you go:
v  Have a sore body
v  Sleep around 4 hours due to construction
v  Eat a little bit of food
v  Lastly explore and meet people
