My weekly blog: Exploring S.K:)

Ready to explore?
When in a new place, it is easy to fall into a moment of discomfort. Although, I did do this early on in my trip I have been trying to challenge myself to try new things.
My experience here in the Republic of Korea started off a bit rocky, but with the help of loved ones I have been able to keep my head held high and remain strong.
For the past 3 weeks I was able to make wonderful memories. First, I met people that became more than just my students; they became an important part of my life/family. My student became my friends. For the last day of teaching my partner teacher and I bought pizza for my students and they made us cute little letters (shown below).

I know that I will miss my students, but they have marked another page of my life book. This whole experience has.
Exploring:
When walking near the campus I found this building and I had to stop and take a picture, because it didn’t look like the other buildings around the city. This building stood out to me, because I needed a reminder that I too can stand out among the crowd; we all can.
I am a strong believer in looking at things through different perspectives. Although it makes you an easy target for haters it builds a better and stronger you.

Thank you!
